All my life I've been seen as the outcast and never really mattered in the people at my schools life. Except for one, my childhood bestfriend she has always been there for me and no matter what stupid things we get into trouble for we stick together no matter what. Last summer before our sophomore year she went off into some band camp. I teased her about it of course but then again she teases me about my art. When she came back she was in a relationship with this guy, no don't get me wrong I'm not jelous but this dude she was dating was a total douche. Excuse my language but he was, but I couldn't dare ruin my friend ship with Luna so I tried not to intervine. "Ash! back to earth, are you spacing out again? just get your butt down here" said Luna. "Yea, so! ill be there in a second!" oh forgot to mention, my name is Ash and this book is about me! and my adventures in friendship with Luna! This book is not really a romance but a heart warming book about friends and the issues they face and if they end up as besties or not.

"Why did you do that?" I asked as I entered the classroom and set my books on his desk. "What did I do?" he replied, not looking up. "I waved at you, and you ignored me. And now you're asking what you did?" I explained, wondering if he had forgotten. "What happened between us last night was a moment of weakness. I don't want to be seen with you. I'm sorry if I led you on." He spoke quickly, gathered his books, and left, leaving me standing there alone. I stood frozen, unable to move, my mind blank. I blinked as tears traced down my cheeks-the same cheeks he had held in his palms when he said he loved me. "Where did that 'love' go?" I whispered to myself. ************ This is the story of a teenage girl who excelled in her Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) and was accepted into a prestigious high school.
