A Southern primadonna takes everything for granted until one bad decision shifts her reality.

Set in the Deep South, in a town known for abandoned gas stations, tall weeds, and the Mississippi River, Swimming Backwards tells the story of a generation of people who can't find it in their heart to fall backwards and trust that they will float.

Everyone can do it. But sometimes the water wins. And sometimes you learn to relax and swim backwards.
