I Am No Drama God
After a crimson meteor streaked across the sky, human civilization came to a standstill. From that day on, no one could build a rocket, a nuclear bomb, an airplane, or even a car... The towering pyramid of modern science collapsed in an instant-but the catastrophe did not end there. A gray world descended with the crimson meteor, like a ghostly reflection in a shattered mirror, slowly dragging civilization into the abyss of chaos. In this era, human life is as insignificant as dust; in this era, humanity shines like the stars. As the great edifice of civilization crumbles, someone sees a lone performer standing amidst the ruins. His crimson cloak flows like blood, his laughter and tears interwoven. Behind him, the curtain of a new era slowly rises. He spreads his arms wide and whispers to the countless souls before him- "Let the show... begin." Tale of The Broken Sword
A story told in two perspectives. Set in an alternate industrial world where radio technology is rendered nearly obsolete due to a magnificent yet mysterious and devastating phenomenon that has crippled its use. Nations has prospered with the further development of flight and the inception of the skyship, a series of heavily-armed floating warships that has the ability to cross continents and wrest control of the skies. This story arc is told in the perspective of a young Aurelian soldier, Everent Clauvis Griswall, who struggles to come in terms with his brother's 'death'. Severely delusional and suffering from a complex, he inadvertently sets out to find the truth behind the War that had killed his brother and engulfed the whole continent of Steiffer with chaos and death. The second story arc is set in the future Earth where an unexpected turn of mysterious events has triggered a massive War that has destroyed many countries, rendering the surviving nations struggling for what's left of the resources on the ravaged world. Unable to travel across devastated wastelands stretching hundreds of miles apart, nations have developed and built gravitational elevators as a main mode of transport among each other. The second story arc is told in the perspective of Jeremiah Kelson, a young and aspiring scientist/operative who had an unexpected military background and skill. Having no memories of his past, Kelson finally sets out to find the roots of his forgotten memories without knowing that it would place him in dangerous situations in search of his past life. After crossing paths with many different peoples of the other world, Kelson would eventually begin to question himself of his origins and has decided to find it out. Little does he know that fate will bring him in a chance encounter with another young soldier that might have some connections with him, leading to the revelations of a bigger and more shocking truth of the relations between the both worlds...Complete
The Wakeful Wanderer's Guide to Disillusionment
Book 2 of the Wakeful Wanderer's series. Book 1 is The Wakeful Wanderer's Guide to New New England & Beyond. That's a good place to start. It's available here. The America of our near-future is divided across socio-economic and technological-philosophical lines. The Traditionalists eschew any and all post-human technologies in favor of tangible materials. They uphold strict hierarchical structures based on religion, family, and leadership. They long for the return of the global markets wiped out by a world-shaking disaster called The Great Tide. The Interconnected stand in stark opposition to their ways, living without property, family, or religion, and modifying their bodies with the help of new and invasive technologies. They speak to each other wordlessly, employing a technological telepathy they call 'thexting' to communicate mind to mind, and embrace the gifting economy of Merit to maintain their post-scarcity lifestyles. Marto, the traveling Interconnected historian, has exiled himself to protect the ones he loves from his dark secret. In his absence, Helen, a runaway Traditionalist aristocrat, struggles to find her place among the Interconnected, unwilling to return to her cruel family. Reyleena, the former head of security in the Interconnected town of Reverside, has returned to a life of quiet solitude, broken occasionally by the impositions of The Other, an omnipresent AI, who will not leave her alone. Meanwhile, Barnabas, the Traditionalist leader of New Atlantic, fights to return to his township in the wake of an attack. Nora, his sister, remains in Reverside and must come to terms with her new life in captivity.Complete

In the aftermath of a cataclysmic nuclear war, humanity teeters on the brink of extinction. The once-thriving world has been reduced to a wasteland, where radiation runs rampant and genetic mutations have spawned a host of nightmarish new life forms. Society has crumbled, leaving survivors to navigate a harsh and violent landscape where every day is a struggle for survival. Amid this desolate chaos, a mysterious figure known only as Su emerges from the wilderness. With an enigmatic past and an uncertain future, Su embarks on a perilous journey through the ruins of civilization. His quest is driven by a quest for answers and a search for hope in a world where both seem to be in short supply. When desire is unshackled, the path forward becomes obscured; turning left leads to hell, and turning right leads to hell as well. The novel is centered around the struggle for survival, following the protagonist Su as he battles against various human factions such as the Dark Dragon Knights, the Bloodshed Council, and the Holy Radiant Crusaders. These conflicts push Su's abilities to continually awaken and evolve, ultimately escalating to a war against apostles and super-beasts.Complete
