Burden - A Loki Fan Fiction

This book can be seen as a Loki fan fiction. But I would also call it a story about the life journey of Freya.

From a young asgardian maiden that was raised by a palace healer, she becomes one of the greatest mages of Asgard and one of the most adored goddess among both midgardians and asgardians alike.

We can see her fight her way through, all while searching for answers about her own identity.

Her life takes a turn as prince Loki, the God of Mischief, first lays eyes on her. Fate brought them together. Even if they go through hard and happy times, they are never able to stay apart for to long, as fate wishes for them to be brought back to each other.

There will also be some Thor romance in the beginning and a lot of mythology references.

The book is devided into two parts. First half of the book happens centuries before our time. And the second part begins right before the attack on New York of the year 2012 (first Avengers movie).

I started the book on the 3rd of May 2018.
First chapter was posted on the 14th of July 2021, right after the last episode of season 1 of Loki got released.
