So my school forces us to write a speech every year for a competition. The competition starts off against everyone in your classroom, two people from your classroom with the best speeches go off to present in front of the school. They are against the other two people from each class. The two best people from the school speak-off are ranked in first and second place, first place goes on to represent our school in the city speak-off competition.
I personally, have only made it to the school speak off once before, but have been chosen again this year with my speech on Anxiety.
I decided to place my speech on the internet because 'why not?' and hopefully to get some feedback before the school speak offs.

Every sound in my world is amplified due to the silence. Every footstep, every ticking clock in every classroom, every pen that clicks or drops to the floor, every little sharp sound is so loud in my head that it pisses me off. For the first ten years of my life I always imagined myself a princess. I always saw myself being an amazing, and beautiful person. Everyone saw me as a loving girl who just wanted happiness for everyone and only wanted to see people smile. Until the eleventh grade, when my crush Rayan Lopez called me ugly. I adored that boy with everything, since 7th grade, and that was the day.... I realized I wasn't a princess after all. It's amazing how quickly someone can defeat your dream with the utterance of one word. Whoever said words don't hurt, must have never experienced this. Twenty years later, I cringe whenever I hear it and am immediately brought back to that rainy afternoon when the love for myself diminished. Being Their Little Sister
It's been three years since Sophie moved in with her older brothers, it's been three years since her mother passed away and she has been growing and changing in the last three years. Sophie is about to be fifteen years old and has she get's older, she realizes how much her mother will miss out on. The future she has, her mother won't be around to see it. Her grief has reappeared after she believed she had gotten better. For Sophie's brothers, it's been three years if learning how to be the best brothers they can be for Sophie. It's been three years of nightmares and panic attacks, of fear that keeps their little sister locked in her room. It's been three years of trying to help their sister. Now, she's fifteen and dealing with a lot both on the inside and the outside. The first book is being rewritten so it will be different than what this book is about. I will get around to rewriting this book as well but not right now. I'm changing quite a few things about the original story and I will be editing Being Their Little Sister also so they match. For the moment, My Older Brothers has been taken down for editing and I will start putting the chapters back up after I've edited the chapters.
