34 parts Complete Avery Hills is not your ordinary seventeen year-old girl. Avery has been locked up in her house since the minute she returned from the hospital after being born. Sounds kind of like Rapunzel right? A girl being trapped somewhere since her birth with little to no hopes of freedom? Not really actually.
Instead of being asked to let her long hair down in order to get free, Avery got her freedom the old fashioned way, she fought for it. She argued, pestered, and yelled her way out of her horrible 'castle' and out into the real world. But very soon she realizes that 'out into the real world' isn't as great as she thought it would be.
Now Avery has to try to live a life like all the other teenagers, after seventeen years of no human contact other than her beloved tutor and parents. She struggles a lot with understanding friendship, love, and who to trust and not, and just when she thinks about giving up, she runs into Luke White.
Luke White is exciting and intriguing to Avery, and he makes her feel things she can't even explain. He helps her fit in, and even introduces her to his friend, Nate Oak who she later dates. Luke makes Avery complete, and Avery makes Luke complete, but in a different way...
Luke finally realizes his true feelings, and becomes angry, sad, and bitter. He quickly gets revenge on Avery, for making him feel this way. Will Luke's revenge be enough to send Avery off the edge, and back to her old life?
