"Oh right, you're agoraphobic?" He asked, understanding. I nodded quickly.

"So you've never set foot outside of this penthouse."

"No. Not once since I came here." He sighed and walked to me.

"You have to go out." He said. I shook my head again.

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes! Sorry lady but I need to get down that elevator."

Rachel La Tere is agoraphobic. She had never left her penthouse at the top of the luxury Castle apartments. With a controlling mother for 10 years, she had learnt to not question things such as why her hair was to never be cut short or why she wasn't allowed to have any pictures of herself. When Kyle comes crashing, literally, into her careful and solitude life, would she finally find out the answers to her secrets? Why her biological mother had died and what truly happened to her father after she was 'adopted'. And why everybody seems to be searching for her?

And what happens when Kyle finds out what happens to people when they help break carefully built secrets apart?

"Sweetheart wake up. You're at the hospital." I looked up and saw the same woman hovering over me. "Oh...okay." I opened my eyes fully and noticed that I was already in the hospital bed. Why on earth did she have to wake me? "So why am I here?" I asked confused. "Well," she said pulling a short and skinny woman into the room. "This very sweet lady saw you on the side of the road and called 9-1-1." I looked up at her and she threw me an evil look. In a way, she seemed strongly familiar. I looked away slowly diving my eyes back into the direction of the nurse. "Before we leave you, I just wanted to let you know that my name is Julia. You can call me whatever works best for you. Julia, Nurse, Nurse Julia. Whatever. I'll be right back with your papers." Sixteen-year-old Abigail Moore, also referred to as Ginger by her boyfriend Cameron Wood, has lived a terrible sixteen years. She grew up with her drug-addict mother who didn't care enough to properly raise her, and she's stuck living alone for a good amount of her teenage years. Once Abigail's mother got put in jail for suspected murder of Abigail's older sister, Julia, Abigail is forced to live with her aunt. Abigail and her aunt get along very well, and she grows up safe and in no harm. Although her life and goals seem set straight and simple to her, her mother and others are always watching, just waiting in Abigail's shadows for the perfect time to strike, and take their next victim in the creepy and deathly darkness of Brett Creek in Colombia Falls, Maine. Avery Hills is not your ordinary seventeen year-old girl. Avery has been locked up in her house since the minute she returned from the hospital after being born. Sounds kind of like Rapunzel right? A girl being trapped somewhere since her birth with little to no hopes of freedom? Not really actually. Instead of being asked to let her long hair down in order to get free, Avery got her freedom the old fashioned way, she fought for it. She argued, pestered, and yelled her way out of her horrible 'castle' and out into the real world. But very soon she realizes that 'out into the real world' isn't as great as she thought it would be. Now Avery has to try to live a life like all the other teenagers, after seventeen years of no human contact other than her beloved tutor and parents. She struggles a lot with understanding friendship, love, and who to trust and not, and just when she thinks about giving up, she runs into Luke White. Luke White is exciting and intriguing to Avery, and he makes her feel things she can't even explain. He helps her fit in, and even introduces her to his friend, Nate Oak who she later dates. Luke makes Avery complete, and Avery makes Luke complete, but in a different way... Luke finally realizes his true feelings, and becomes angry, sad, and bitter. He quickly gets revenge on Avery, for making him feel this way. Will Luke's revenge be enough to send Avery off the edge, and back to her old life? (Awesome cover made by @emblyn_rose)

"Our kingdom was once beautiful, but now the towers are everywhere. They say that Queen Rapunzel has lost her mind--and I believe them. Before, I might have felt sorry for her, but now I just fear her. I fear the sound of her soldiers pounding at the door, demanding that I be taken away. I fear the towers." Years after the original tale of Rapunzel took place, the kingdom--left to the grief-stricken Queen after her husband's death--is falling apart. People live in constant fear of the many terrible towers across the land, built by her Majesty's decree to imprison any who dare question her. Bird's nothing but a girl from the north, but when someone she cares about is taken by the mad Queen's soldiers, she'll stop at nothing to save them. With nothing but her friends, a sled, and a mind full of songs, she sets out to get rid of the towers, once and for all. DISCLAIMER: this is a retelling of the *ORIGINAL FAIRY TALE* by the Brothers Grimm and has no connection to Disney's version whatsoever. DISCLAIMER PART II: I wrote this book when I was 15 and am still in the middle of huge revisions that I haven't posted here yet! Please feel free to read, but keep in mind this is a work in progress. :)
