How do you tell if someone is gay? Well some people have the special ability to use what is called a gaydar, which can pinpoint signs or mannerisms that can determine if another is in fact gay. My name is Mason Lux, and I'm the 'gay best friend' of the queen bee of high school, Gabriella Grace, aka Gabby. Along with our other best friend Emily, we are called the GEM(s), the s is silent. Rulers of the school through gossip and drama, we are either adored and hated, there is no in between.

While being popular is fun and all, there's something that it doesn't bring you, love - at least for me. Gabby on the other hand could get a boyfriend with the snap of her fingers, and the same goes for Emily. My love life is as dry as the Sahara, and I'm a little bitter about it.

Until one day, Caspian Rose, the most attractive jock in this whole damn school, comes up to me. Never did I think the day would come where I'd talk to him, is this one of my dreams or fantasies? My heart beating fast, my face as red as a tomato. In his raspy voice he asks me - 'could you help me get Gabby to date me?'

Oh how wonderful, finally my dream starts happening only for me to be pulled down to reality once again. After all, I'm the gay best friend, and the closest to Gabby (sorry Emily). What do I do? Tell him off and say I'm not a charity - haha as if! He's too perfect to turn down, looks like I'm in for quite the job.

In exchange for helping Caspian date Gabby, he promises to get me a boyfriend. Claiming he has a 'gaydar' despite being a straight boy, which I highly doubt, especially since I don't have one. I can't tell who's gay and who isn't unless they're open about it. At this point I'll do whatever to find a boyfriend. Welcome to my crazy and desperate life!

Folarin is sick of this. Every day, he wakes up to more fuel added to the idiotic rumours that he and his best friend, Chuka are in a secret gay relationship. It's ridiculous. Folarin has had actual interventions held over his chronic womanizing and Chuka gets in and out or more ships than Jack Sparrow. The two of them are drowning in women. And the fact they happen to be two of the biggest stars in Nollywood, not to mention insanely handsome, certainly doesn't hurt the process. But one blogger in particular, who seems to have a personal bone to pick with them, posts lie after lie while smoothly evading legal consequences. She needs to be stopped. So, as part of an elaborate plan to trap her, they decide to lean into it. It would be controversial. It could be career suicide. And it's a risk they're willing to take. But what starts as acting for the cameras starts to stir up some very real emotions, and they - for the first time - start to wonder... ...if the world was on to something. .... "This." Folarin said, waving his hand back and forth between them. "I want to try." Chuka cocked an eyebrow. "Being boyfriends?" Folarin shut his eyes and let out a long-suffering sigh. "Yes. Being bo- . You fucking know what I'm talking about." "And how exactly is that supposed to work?" "Why wouldn't it?" "For one thing, we're not gay." Folarin shrugged. "How hard can it be?" Chuka laughed through his nose. "I'm not sure that's how sexuality works, Folarin." This isn't steamy like Brother in Lust but it's still a good read, I promise. :) Enjoy.

Ages 14+ (lesbian concepts and some profanity) This is not your everyday love story, okay? It's not a chick flick either. The events and themes within my pages have meaning, depth, truth-and most of all, reality. You are about to be taken on an adventure about a girl who's life is not like everybody else's. I look like a normal teen girl, I mean, I have hair and two eyes and two hands and feet like everybody else, but I couldn't feel more different. I have two moms, yes. Let's just get that out there before you start reading and close my diary like everyone in my life has shut me out of theirs. All I want is a normal life with normal friends who don't judge me because of my home situation. I don't even remember the last time I went on a sleepover or called somebody my age. I don't mean to be a downer, because it does get better. Life gets better. Struggles are only temporary, I know that now. And by my last words reach your eyes, I've come a long way, and have grown to see potential in myself. I'm sharing this with you because I want to make a difference. I know now that I'm not the only one in the world that feels alone. I've been there, done that, and there's more loneliness to come, but for now, I feel more prepared for it. I know how it feels to sit by yourself at lunch every day and how it feels to watch others go to prom with dates and feel like shit because you don't think you'd even have any friends to go with. Please ready my diary. I am much older now, and much more wiser, and I can't wait for you to realize the potential in yourself, too.

A light ache from his hangover rang through his head reminding him that he drank a lot last night seconds later, he opened his mouth to hiss or groan in pain, but the groan that brought silence to the room wasn't his- it was, "Callum?!" "Asad?" I called. He carried a covered tray towards the bed. "Good morning" 'Is this a dream or what' I whispered to myself. He opened the top tray, revealing what was covered. It was tea and French bread with scrambled eggs. I tried to recall what happened yesterday but I couldn't focus. "Asad?, why am I here?" I asked. "I had a fight with someone molesting you, you probably going to be ged rapped, and you were unconscious and drunk. I decided to take you to my house since it's already late" he explained. "Asad, I'm sorry" I begged giving him an innocent look. "No, why should you be, after all you have been through, for the lost of your parents, and everything, you deserve better and what are you doing at a gay bar?" he asked. "I wanted a part time job just to raise money to help my siblings" I answered. "I thought it was just a silly crush, but it turned into more. I'm sorry, I know you don't feel the same about me I don't want this to ruin our friendship, but I just had to tell you...." **Best Ranking** Strangerstolovers #1 Richboyfriend #1
