Immortality isn't all it's made out to be and Charles Acton, a young immortal discovers this the hard way. Betrothed to another immortal, per family tradition, Charles is set to marry to secure a pure immortal bloodline. However, Mr. Acton's heart has been set on another for years now; Thomas Pembroke. Being engaged to another is the least of Charles problems as Thomas himself is an aging mortal. Faced with a dilemma, Charles must pick between following family customs or following his ever-yearning heart, even if his heart will belong to a mortal.

Thomas is a shameless guy of an outstanding beauty, rebellious and greedy for life. Transferred for misconduct from London in a private school in the outskirts of Milan for his father's order, he looks like an alien at a country fair: him, conscious of his superiority but disoriented, and the others, especially the fairer sex, staring at him open mouth. During his exile he's entrusted to Anna, his new classmate; the hope is that she could help him to recover at school, but not only this. Anna is a young wounded angel. About the life, until that moment, she has mainly knew hardness and suffering, becoming the guardian of a terrible secret which doesn't allow grandstanding or distractions. She's an expert on battles against monsters, she identifies Tom's one and in the silence of a discreet friendship she takes care of his weaknesses until healing him. He's impressed, also grateful, and wants to return the favour, but to help her is much more difficult. Very different Annie and Tom's worlds, but equally troubled by challenges worth a lifetime. Guys animated by the yearning to fully enjoy every moment, to accumulate experiences without worrying too much about consequences, from high to the first heartbeats, where moments of collective exaltation are followed by small and large personal dramas. An alternation of funny and touching landscapes, a bittersweet recipe to savour again the most beautiful and free years of the life. To know more, look for me on Facebook.

Thirteen-year-old Rowan finds himself in Auradelle, a magical world that appears in his grandfather's drawer shortly after his death. Rowan would do anything to get his grandfather back, which means staying in Auradelle to find the Aura, a gem that holds the energy of the universe together, and has enough power to grant someone anything they wish for. Also after the Aura is Lord Adar, a vicious man who has resurfaced again in order to regain the Aura's power for unknown reasons. Rowan finds himself lost in a maze of Auradellians, who are all born Aardians (boys with the spirit of a forest animal and the ability to run faster than average), Gwydions (boys with the ability to show their emotions via a cloud of color, and can read thoughts), Celestes (girls with the heart, soul, and wings of a butterfly, who can see whatever they want to see), and Genesises (girls with the character and wings of a bird who can control objects with their mind). Lucky for him, Rowan soon meets new friends, all willing to help him search for the Aura as long as they get a share of wishes: Zoe, an Auradellian born hopelessly, ordinarily human, Seraphina, a Genesis with the most useless wings known to Auradelle, and Vivian, a blind Celeste. Together, they fight for their dream, but soon find out that they are keeping more secrets than information shared. Will Rowan find his way home? Or is he lost forever, with no grandfather, no Aura, and no friends to guide him on?

"In a word I was too cowardly to do what I knew to be right, as I had been too cowardly to avoid doing what I knew to be wrong" Charles Dickens, Great Expectations. I'm a textbook pessimist and I like it just the way it is. Eynal is a highborn boy who has whatever he could need to be happy but his outlook on life plagues him at every turn, obsessed by the notion that existence is entirely pointless living in his own world void of anything remotely positive he turns a blind eye to anything that is expected of him, but forces beyond him thrust an entirely new situation upon him that he fails to navigate with his usual indifference will he adapt and change as expected? or will he find a way to cast it aside as he always has. This story is based around medieval fantasy with some inspiration from the classics (Lotr, GOT) it will navigate the personal lives of two characters who are polar opposites and an increasingly fragile political situation in the world they live in *this is my first time ever writing something so if i suck please dont bully me XD*
