*SERIES COMPLETE* This series of one-shots/short stories/scene extensions/episode specs will be the telling of Sanem and Can's story as inspired by Prince's music. I love Prince. I love Can and Sanem. I couldn't help but relate Prince's lyrics to CanEm's love story as I listened. This is an experiment...The idea is interesting to me--we shall see how interesting it is to others. :) Some parts will be rated G, and some will be R. I really loved EK up to episode 19, after that, they made Sanem act too childish, awkward and unworthy of being a strong and intelligent woman. From then on, and especially the scene at the hut where Can lost it, I almost felt insulted that a young woman could be portrayed in such a weak and stupid way; and that she would blame herself after a man would treat her with so much violence and disrespect. I am slowly learning to like the character of Can again but mostly felt the need to write my ''dream'' version of EK after Sanem tells Can ''you have decided to leave, good bye''. I like happy ending don't worry, but Can won't have it easy!!! I own no rights over characters, and I am not a frequent writer apart from uni and work assignments/reports😊 oh and I am not a native English speaker. Yigit is not Polen's brother in this story, because it was utterly RIDICULOUS!!!! Lol

Sanem Aydin is an up and coming dancer and choreographer who has worked hard all of her life to get to where she is now. This one is a little different as I'm telling my story from a real life point of view. I fell in love with Can Yaman after watching the series and have followed him as he has traversed love, his career, his charity and all the challenges he has faced. We are grateful that he shares so much with his fans. In the story, Sanem is a fan of Can's and goes with some friends to hopefully meet him during the Break the Wall tour and like they say...the rest is history. If you've ever fantasized about Can falling in love with you, this is the story for you!

Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!
