Loud Poetry from a Quiet Girl

Underneath the Dark Night sky,
Where secrets hide and prophecies lie,
Where love is born and promises broken
A simple boy with a blue token.
Screams in terror and shallow grief
As his love leaves herself in deep blue sea.
He screams for loss and sadness and love
In this world these thing are common woes
So he throws that blue token far
Carrying memories of her
Thoughts of love, of promise and cheer
Here,
Underneath the Dark Night sky.
