Evangeline Lawrence has a secret. A big secret. One involving her birthday, the player, August Griffin, who's (almost) like a brother to her, and a kiss the night before he ran away. No one else knows about it, aside from August, of course, and Evangeline is determined to move forward with her life. That is, until she finds a letter from him.
A letter that might give her a clue to his whereabouts. A letter that she tells only her best friend about. A letter that tells her he...loves her?
Confused and emotional, she decides to search for him, instead of turning the letter into the police.
After following the clue, and finding him, Evangeline expects things to only get better. But trying to sort out her complex relationship with August, move past a traumatizing experience, and unravel a tangled web of lies soon leaves her frustrated and upset. Nothing is helped when a figure from her past emerges and she is hurt both mentally and physically, leaving her with one question:
What will happen next?

Hidden in Her Letters

24 parts Complete

Annie Halden was the exact definition of a wallflower. She lived on the sidelines, didn't like attention and worried too much. She wrote letters to herself as her way to get her thoughts out. She never told anyone or let anyone see. Leo Smith, one of the school star athletes and most popular boys, found one of her letters. He started breaking into her locker to read the letters every time there was a new one. He grew concerned about her and wanted to protect her, he wanted to know why she was so broken and who hurt her, he wanted her to know he was there for her - be her shoulder to lean on. How would this friendship work out with Annie being as shy and quiet as she is, never getting close to anyone? How would this friendship last if Annie came to find out the truth about Leo stealing and reading her personal letters? - #1 in teen romance
