"Now my children, I know I told you all you can go anywhere the current goes, but I felt it was important to let you know. You must never go to the surface of the ocean, you must never go near human made objects, and if a human were to see you, run, hide, for if they catch you, they will kill you."

Okeanos has always lived by this rule, and in her world humans were something to fear, and the ocean is the only safe place.
But as a game with her siblings goes wrong, and she becomes entangled in a hidden war, she must decide if she should run away, following the rules she has obeyed her whole life. Or should she stay, fighting with her newly discovered friends, who aren't the types humans she's been taught to fear, or not even humans at all.

This is a teenage mutant ninja turtle fan-fiction. It includes canon shipping, possible violence, swearing, and of course, the main theme and inspiration for this story, mer-people! The mer-people design are inspired from the television series, 'Siren'.
Please be aware that this is my first story, in like, years, so I would really appreciate if you all would criticise my work, and don't feel bad to point out my mistakes, it will help me improve in the future!

They knew he lived in the ocean, and when people tried to bomb the area where they thought the monster lived, they would either be cursed, or just eaten by the sea monster himself. And the people who came back insane, they would always wander over the fact that the monster had not even a scratch on him. Teens, young men and women would fear for their lives, and lock themselves in their houses at night. But only one person refused to hide, either in bravery or utter stupidity. That person was Will Solace. So basically, this story is based on the cover art of the book. I just thought it was such a great idea and wanted to put it to story.
