Looks Deceive

In the God's eyes, courts are run by the women. Men are their warriors and protectors. "Of course I know what I am capable of!" I stood, clearly pissed that he assumed I didn't, "I'm Princess Josephine of the Bonnard Royals! Third most powerful." Something within me stirred and I knew I needed to calm down before something went totally wrong, but I couldn't stop shaking. My power was surging just underneath my palms, I could feel it.

Alex suddenly got up and took my hands, I flinched away as his body shot stiff and he fell back. I looked down at my hands, they glowed emerald green. What was happening to me?
