The quake was predicted. What came after was not. Now the United States is populated only by children. After the doomsday, the kids of North America found that they possessed strange and wonderful abilities. The Normie's had the normal kinds of powers, the kinds you'd see in sci-fi movies or comic books. The Intel's were the ones whose IQ levels shot through the roof. But the most dangerous of all the children were the Anomalies. They were the ones whose powers were rare and often lethal.

As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. The people with the new blood type are said to be able to be resistant to most high falls, and also are stronger than the average human being. They are now capturing people with the new blood type, blood type AE positive. You just happen to be one of those people with the rare blood and you drive in an attempt to escape the clutches of the Obelus. But a new leader came out of the ashes and proclaimed they would consider the apocalypse a "rebirth" and proceeded (with his advanced engineering) to clear radioactivity from America and make it livable again. With the help of his crew, he builds a high security city and begins to build out past the east coast. Shortly after he rebuilds NY, he disappears and his advisor rises to power. He is a fair but cruel master (calling himself a Lord) and some people refuse to work for him. These people manage to escape the oppression of the Lord and live out on the wasteland that was once a great country. Some band together to make right communities and others rough it out by themselves, scavenging for a living.Complete
