From an outsider's perspective, Summer Lopez's life is perfect. She drives a spanking new Tesla Model S, wears brand names such as Chanel and Gucci, and lives in a million dollar house. Seems amazing right? Not to her. The thing about all of this is that her father, CEO of Lopez-Parks Company, has paid every cent and Summer wants something that can't be bought: Freedom.

All her life, she's been followed by her bodyguards who make sure she doesn't get kidnapped for ransom. On top of that, paparazzi are always at every corner when she leaves the house. Hell, they even bang on her front door from time to time. Summer just wants to get away from her hectic life and be a teenager who doesn't need a bodyguard or is having a man being paid to capture scandalous pictures of her.

Summer's dream comes true when her childhood best friend visits and notices how unhappy she truly is. Garett plans making her misery vanish. How you may ask? By helping her escape Summer.
