Maxine Angel Calabia was her name. A fine lady, smart, kindhearted and friendly. But she was a desperate woman. She loved the idea of love, and relationships. Yet, she was always unfortunate. All of her relationships failing.
But all of that changed when she met the reaper himself. He had a face. His body wasnt covered in a black cloak, he was smartly dressed with a suit and tie. He was there getting Maxine's grandfather from his deathbed. Maxine asked for his name, yet he didnt budge. She also asked if he can see him again, and he replied "If youre dead." Maxine sighed and asked for another way.
The reaper smiled and jokingly answered.
