Aonani Carter and LaMelo Ball's families have been neighbors since birth. They are extremely close to each other. Both families of five, they had quite a bit in common. Both fathers Lavar and Qamar were business men. Qamar was the CEO of NIKE while Lavar was the CEO of his own company Big Baller Brand or BBB. Each family had three children. The Ball family had three boys; Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo. The Carter family had one boy and two girls; Isaiah, Aonani, and Xena. All of the children got along well with each other but since LaMelo and Aonani were the same age they clicked easier, they were best friends for as long as they can remember. Until Melo realizes his true feelings for Aonani.
