Alula, the Crown Princess of Alethium, led her entire life thinking that she would inherit the throne at her father's passing. At a year after The King died tragically in battle, her mother refuses to abdicate the throne. Under the new Queen, Alethium and its various statehoods are suffering, displacing citizens as surrounding countries encroach their borders. Alula must make her mother see reason, or see her mother overturned.
The Queen of Alethium has different plans for her daughter. Alula will join this year's social season to find a husband, and the next King will be born of Alula's womb.
