"Where do you plan on going, Balefire?"
She asked her friend of many years, following after him through a trek in the woods.

"Away from magic....Its what destroyed my family in the first place..."

He starts walking away. "But how?"

He stops "How do you plan on doing that Balefire? Magic is everywhere, you can't possibly escape it.."

He turns to her and holds up something in between his index finger and thumb.

Something so small, she had to get closer to even see it.

"A...A bean?" He nods.

"It will make a portal to another land, for me and my father." She looks in awe.

"But how?" She blinks in surprise

"How what?" He looks at her

"How could you leave me when you're the only family I have?.."
