The first in the 'Lest We Forget' Series. 18 year old Elle Wickham is on the run. From what, nobody knows. Entering a new town on a decked out motorbike that she built up herself, with her little brother on board, she is the talk of the minuscule population - especially when she turns out to be the niece of the only bachelor in the town, and the owner of the garage she gets a job in.
With her cold aura and her sharp tongue, she isn't what you'd call approachable and with her eidetic memory she isn't one to forgive easily. In fact, the only one to get any emotion out of her is her sibling, a fact that local basketball star, Erik Marshall, is quick to notice - and uses that to his full advantage.
But with her past threatening to find her and endanger the only thing that matters in her life, will she be able to settle down in the quiet woodsy area? Or will she have to go on the run again with her brother in tow - or better yet, confront the danger head on....even if it means to give her life in turn?
