Separated when they were children, the young Ellaria lost her memory when she fell on the cliff. An old couple who wished for a child found her on the river, she was raised along with humans and grew out to be one of the greatest warrior in the kingdom of Rohan. Her excellent skills in battle was attributed by the fact that she had elven blood in her veins. Circumstances led Legolas and Ellaria once again, and found love along the way.

However, their love face one great obstacle. Ellaria had chosen a mortal life.
She was human and he was an elf. Legolas would be forever young and immortal while Ellaria would eventually grew old and die.

He had fallen for another. That day I told him I loved him and that I would never forget him. Then I grabbed his face with my hands and kissed him. When I kissed him a tear slid down my cheek, when it hit the ground it turned into a white pearl. I kissed him because I loved him but when I kissed him I took away every memory of him and myself. I let go and put my necklace around his neck. It was a green stone with markings on it. We called it our hearts we would give it to the ones we love. I looked at him one last time before jumping back into the water leaving the one I love.
