Zoey Samuels has grown up with her parents fighting and not having a secure home. Now that she has reached her final year of High School, she has to decide what to do with her future. With all the uncertainty of adulthood - plus her father's sudden departure - she only has tap class to keep her sane.

There she meets aspiring ballerina Inzhu. A friendship - and maybe more - blossoms between a realist and a dreamer.
