A slow burn fanfic between Thor and Captain Marvel. 

"Oh really?".Rhodes grinned, raising his eyebrow as Thor smirked. 

"Yup, it started with one hell of a punch".

It wasn't a coincidence when Captain Marvel came while the rest of the remaining avengers are figuring out who is behind the pager that Fury had left when he was dusted. Thor, whose still in dread and shock at the aftermath of the decimation tried his best to help the avengers despite his guilt and pain upon the collision and the aftermath of war. Upon meeting Carol Danvers, his next step on getting his revenge on Thanos and saving the entire universe started with a simple, powerful and unexpected punch.
