I have returned and this story has been changed. It used to be about the same characters but they were involved in a teacher and student relationship. I found that it was too common in Wattpad, so I decided to change it up.
This book goes by seasons. Example: Fall Part 1 - September, Fall Part 2 - October, Winter Part 1 - December

The royal guards ambushed the princess and took her away to the witch's house near the ocean. The two white witches agreed to help the princess for her desperate plea to return to her home castle. And stop her brother for his act of disposing his only twin sibling. The two white witches told her to take a swim in the sea before leaving. Before Lucia tries to get out of the water, she was suddenly transformed into a mermaid by the two white witches. There are two ways to break the spell before her time is up by the next month. If Lucia gets a kiss by the merman, she'll be a mermaid for all eternity. If the princess gets a kiss from the prince on land, she will be human again. If not, she will be lost in the world of water. At least it used to be before she disappeared for a decade. Her mother being a fallen Pirate Lord, her father being a fallen Commodore left her an orphan at the age of 17. That didn't slow her down. She made a name for herself in her ruthlessness, saving no mercy for any gender or rank. Along her life she got herself into a spat with Davy Jones on the seas, interfering with souls he was trying to collect by force. She said it was an imbalance to the natural order but he in turn nearly killed her..Tia Dorma nursed her back to health when she found Jessica washed up on the shores of her island. Her entire crew had been killed and she was left barely alive. So Tia Dorma decided to held her in exchange for her beating heart. Jessica didn't understand at the time, and claimed she had no use for it so she could happily take it. Everyone she ever cared about was dead anyways so what did she need it for? However, Tia said there was much about a human heart that she had yet to lean and she would only give the heart back once it heals and Jessica could "properly utilize it" whatever the hell that meant.. Until then Tia would put a spell on Jessica. She couldn't die until something in Jessica stirred that cold heart of hers..read to see more!
