Luck has always been something of a strong suit for Benjamin Cooper. Little things, mostly; finding a lost item just in time for its rare, intended use, just barely skirting around a summer monsoon, dodging a musket ball by a hair's breadth, or having the exact amount of forgotten coinage in his pockets to pay a tax collector: standard, in Ben's experience.

Today, though, things are going badly. Very, badly.

This story will occasionally be edited, as I may not like how things sound over time. I am progressively getting better at writing smut. If you read this book again and notice some changes, don't worry! I'm just trying to make it better. I wrote this about a year ago and I have grown a lot since then. This book contains LGBTQIA+ relationships, people, and detailed sexual scenes. If you are against the LGBTQIA, i suggest you read another book and leave no hate. Because you don't have to. This year 21 Year old Hunter Brigley and his 7 year old sister Hope and 2 others are forced onto the plantation well before the lockdown and its a struggle from the moment the gate closes to stay alive. Hunter uses his common sense and logic to his advantage, but soon fear of loosing his sister overwhelms him and he soon finds out is just how confusing and distorted reality gets once inside the Plantation walls. He has to risk everything just to save his and his sisters life. And being descended from the very family that the ghost who supposedly haunts the plantation killed, doesnt put the odds in there favor.
