In a world which has fallen to the brink of collapse,  the last remaining humans frantically search for new ways to delay the inevitable fate  of a infestation of plague spread across every crack and corner of the earth.  However,  the few remaining survivors,  struggling to even stand; driven to insanity at their deathbed,  "Don't leave the bunker without protection, and NEVER leave ANY skin exposed". 

Valine, unsure what this meant when her mother ordered this to her after so long, is determined to figure out the faults mankind's parents didn't notice after so long.
