Set in the fictional world of Tetherill, this fantasy story will take you on the epic adventures of various characters as their destinies are intertwined. They are going to have to sacrifice and work together to beat the evil crawling across the edge of the lands.

Elf, Gaylia Green, has just begun trials for the Forest Rangers and wants to find a home, security and a family to replace her own. Sora, who wants to follow tribe rituals, finds her loyalties questioned when she is entangled in a conspiracy. Dirk digs up the wrong grave and must face the consequences of a dead mayor and Grock has to learn to lead, to avenge and to kill a dragon.

These characters and many others will have to realise the true meaning of trust, friendship and sacrifice as this story takes them across a trilogy of adventures culminating in one of the biggest battles ever written against an evil you cannot fathom.

"As I laid on the filthy mat, my white hair fanning out like a halo around my head, I felt that ice inside of me fester. It grew and spread until it spanned across my entire body. It engulfed every thought inside my head, every feeling that was bubbling up inside of me. Like a virus. The cold quieted it all, until everything was still and silent... Until I felt nothing at all." Eira Gellert's world comes crumbling down as her sister is forced to leave for the army. The Crownless Lands by SteScope
26 parts Ongoing
Welcome, traveler. Step into the Crownless Lands-a realm that should have been golden but never was. The maps still show grand borders; the songs still promise glory. But up close you'll find frayed banners, broken vows, and people trying to live between the teeth of history. Here, adventurers hunt fortunes that refuse to be found. Heroes rise late or fall early. Lives are traded, stolen, and sometimes-miraculously-saved. And the creatures? Some stalk the roads and terrorize the villages. Others arrive with a lesson sharp as a blade. And the kingdom's worst monsters wear crowns made of lies. --- What You're Getting Into: A weekly high/dark-fantasy pulp serial-fast, moody, full of intrigue, sorcery, and razor twists. Each episode lands a complete beat and ends on a cliffhanger. Where It All Unravels: A continent under a failing crown: forts crumble, roads go quiet, new rules harden. Towns and frontiers fend for themselves-more grit than resources. Bloodlines, Beasts & the In-Between: Shifts among humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, and classic creatures-some scourge, some uneasy allies. How the Story Moves: Chapters leap across the map, braiding many plots into one struggle. Local skirmishes mirror the bigger fight for a crown no one can hold. The People Worth Bleeding For: An ensemble of adventurers, exiles, heirs, and schemers. Not every arc finds light-some rise late, fall early, or trade all for one mercy. Your Weekly Drop: New chapters every Thursday, 6-10k words. Each deepens the world, sharpens the cast, and drives the saga-great for weeklies and first-timers. Important Note: The story follows multiple destinies; chapters are non-sequential and jump between plots across the Crownless Lands.
Another Stupid Spell by billricardi
20 parts Complete
Another Stupid Spell is a first person high fantasy novel, the likes of which hasn't been seen in 60 years. The tone and vocabulary of the story shifts as our narrator, Sorch the orc, finds ways to enhance his intelligence. You get to grow as Sorch grows, learn as he learns, and share his most intimate thoughts. Sorch is an orc mage in a world where orcs are cursed with stupidity every time they cast a spell. The only spell he can safely cast is Enhance Intelligence, which boosts his IQ for a fraction of a second before the curse drains it all away again. Normally casting such a spell would be pointless, but Sorch's tribe has found a way to benefit. Magic that is cast near a mysterious artefact called the 'Voodoo Engine' causes invisible hands to appear, and these hands get work done for his tribe. Sorch is a slave to the Voodoo Engine, casting a single spell over and over again to avoid being beaten by the chief's warrior caste. While foraging for food on one fateful night, our hero happens upon two human mages who are in big trouble. He saves their lives, and in return they give him an amulet that will make his life easier. Unbeknownst to the humans, their gift grants Sorch the power to break the cycle of intelligence drain and physical abuse. With the help of his friend and mentor, Shaman, Sorch becomes a real mage. Sorch leaves his swamp and embarks on a series of incredibly exciting and dangerous adventures. During his travels he encounters horrible injury, magical treasures, love, snow, university admissions tests, a plot against the Kingdom, and then of course he saves the world. Or does he? Be prepared to rethink everything you know about thinking. If your own intelligence was the fuel that your magic ran on, how brightly would you dare to burn?
