Shannon and Cammie were both exhausted after spending the last day of their anniversary trip in New York at the floor of an airport, listening to one flight after the other be canceled by the same torturous voice over the intercom. When they finally get on a plane home, the seat between them is already booked. The woman having booked that seat had just ran from a messy, but rather predicted break-up, after suffering in a relationship she knew had died after having caught her ex cheating on her at her twenty-first birthday, on a trip to the Bahamas. Now, the only memory left of her ex is every word of bitterness written down in her notebook, ready to be belted out at whatever small bar in Los Angeles that could possibly want her break-up as their source of entertainment. Shannon wasn't one to sleep on planes and finds herself rather interested in the woman beside her, finding herself drawn to a story told by the woman's bitterness, she would soon be the one to write all over again. - "When burning desire is put up against delicate devotion, dishonesty casts shadow on all morality"
