a world, in which death is seen as a blessing, and most people commit suicide at a pretty young age. 

in this world, in a home for children of people who already died, a 15 year old boy, who has his own ideas about this lifestyle, but can't share it, because he doesn't talk after a series of traumatic events.

also in this home, a seventeen year old boy who loves the idea of death releasing you from all the pain in the world, and who already prepared his death for his 18th birthday.

can one convince the other of their ideas, or will both just keep on living their life as though nothing happened?

[OLD] [NOT MEANT TO ROMANTICIZE DEPRESSION OR MENTAL ILLNESS. SIMPLY A TROPE.] Tom isn't your average teen. But then again, what makes a teen average? His family is broken, his mental health is slowly declining, and he's faced questioning his sexuality. Often left to sit in his bed on his phone most of the day, his reasons to live were slowly declining. Tom thought it was better this way. It was better to not disturb anyone, to wear the same clothes over and over, and to stay boring. All, of course, until Tom met him. Updates every Friday. Maybe more days if I'm not busy or I'm motivated to do so. ⚠️ TW ⚠️ -boyxboy (shouldn't be a warning smh) -suicidal thoughts -self harm (cutting, etc) -no smut, probably fluff though -throwing up I didn't take the photo in the cover. I only added the text. This story does have a happy ending, because I also realized how much of an impact reading angst stories without one has on me. Please educate yourself and if I do ever decide to rewrite this cursed book I will be sure to acknowledge some more of the things in this story that are a bit too much.
