Emely Bower listens. For two years since her father died she's only talked to her best friend, Jackson Hunter. When they decide to participate in the school talent show and realize that their two man band isn't going to cut it, they put up fliers around the school advertising. What they don't expect is for Kaleb Spencer, the starting quarterback to not only be a huge country fan like they are, but to also want to be a part of their band, 'Different Kind Of Knight'.
Kaleb wants to know what's up with Emely. She's different, has never said a word to him, and he wants to know why. When he sees a flier for her band, which nobody really knew existed, and it specifies that it is one hundred percent country, he figures he'll fit right in. How wrong he was.
This story is about music and life. Two things that go hand in hand. Emely will be forced out of her shell, and Kaleb will try to earn her trust through the only thing that's ever made sense to them; country music.

His introverted self doesn't allow him to just sing whenever he wants. So he finds time whenever he's alone. When at last everyone leaves him alone, oh how amazing and wonderful his voice echoes out all along the walls of anywhere he can be alone. His amazing talent, however, one day lures in an audience. I own the characters Luke, Hikari, their parents, etc. while Taylor owns the characters Red, Eva, Alistair, etc. while we both own the plotline, high school characters, etc. A new girl. A werewolf. A band competition. And one secret that could change everything. Red has just moved into town with her family because of her dad's health. Her first day of school goes good and despite a few bullies and drama, she gets through the day. She also auditions for a band and get in. But on that same day, she sees a boy, who was not like the rest. He is part werewolf. Red feels like they can be friends because she is part angel. They bump into each other and finds out that his name is Luke who has only his cousin and sister by his side. Later, thanks to Red, Luke gets better and joins the band with her and a competition is taking place soon and start to get feelings for each other. But when he is being threatened with a video about him, will they figure out how to stop it? And will the two fall in love? Or will major secrets stop them from getting together?
