"You know, some people meet their lovers in romantic settings. A beach, a party, etc. And some people meet under romantic circumstances, like a best friend introducing them, or even by a knight-in-shining-armor rescue. Cliches, cliches everywhere.
Me? Screw that, I met John Laurens by almost getting run over. But I didn't know back then what he was going to mean to me. I just thought "Hey, this nice dude saved me! Okay, go about your day now."

(Small disclaimer here for readers. If you've read any of my fanfictions, you'll know I typically name the reader, because that Y/N stuff drives me up a wall for some reason, so yeah. And since I was talking to my friend recently, and she told me that all my fanfictions were actually x OC!Readers, I thought about it and technically, they are, but also aren't. No, this isn't my OC. I only come up with the characters in my books for the x reader. I just like to create characters like this instead of, you know, Y/N, and Favorite (insert thing here). I'm not sure why, I guess I just like writing books that are more like real books (like, published ones) Sorry if that bothers you!)
