The Sacrifice of Champions

Viola knew that as long as there was the sky, freedom was in her midst and she loved it.

As long as there were forests and seas and meadows and mountains and caves, she had adventure just a step away and she revelled in it.

But as long as she was the daughter of a rich flower farm baron, she had to wear a ring.

And she hated it.

In the land of Lark where spring blooms all throughout the year and any trace of gloom is nonexistent, the announcement of Viola Thistle and Henry Howerby's engagement was a glorious day for the town. It was as to be expected of the wealthy society of Lark, and slowly but surely, Viola thinks that, maybe, she could get used to this life. A sacrifice of her ambitions to marry for worldly needs for the sake of keeping her family in tact.

But things don't always turn out the way we think they should, do they?

Henry soon disappears mysteriously out in plain sight. It turns out that Keria, a treacherous fire goddess that dwells in the Phoenix Pyromids had taken him as a sacrifice for the Solstice Ritual.

A test of courage, will and strength and for a purpose of her own, Viola steps up to the challenge, but with the presence of the deadly swamp sirens, minotaurs and among many other terrifying monsters along the way, who knows what could happen.
