Thousands of years after the events of the Dragonets of destiny, new dragons rise. Breeds such as Swiftwings and Webwings now roam Pantala. Another war has started. Some tribes ally in hope to rule together. While others are rogues, wanting this only for their own tribe. A prophecy states, that eight dragons shall determine the king or queen of all dragons. But the rumors of the prophecy being false are spreading like fires. Dragons are getting infuriated with the news, and some are making up new prophecies, which state that the dragonets should be killed under the cold talons of dragons united. Tribes are going extinct, and rumors state that two new tribes shall rise. Now all hybrids are killed at birth, and extinction to all the tribes is what some are looking for. What fate will come to Pantala? Will they rise as an empire? Or will they shatter like glass?

Lavender wants to keep her kingdom safe, just like all dragons do, but she also wants to keep everyone connected and stop them from being torn apart. He wants nothing more than to go home and see his mother, especially after all that's happened. But Hare manages to be convincing enough, and the last thing he wants is to have to live in fear of losing his mother to the war. Both groups of dragonets have lived their entire lives in a lie, but one will end the war and make Pyrrhia the continent it was before.
