María Villa Andino was once the living example of one who chased her dreams. She was blessed with supportive and caring parents, amazing friends, and a life that one can only wish to have. She then moved from San Bernardino to Los Angeles, California to stay with the only relative she had in the U.S. -her father's mother- where she managed to finish high school and would eventually decline her full-ride scholarship to UCLA. She did the one thing she never thought she would do: give up on everything she had worked for, for a different path in life. However, when things suddenly take a turn for the worst for the second time in her life, she's forced to leave that world behind as well and start from scratch once again. The only question is: will she find enough strength to keep fighting or will she throw in the towel for good this time?
