Pearl Earrings

Step-siblings Emily and David have never seen each other as brother and sister ever since their parents married in their preteens, and have always had to tip-toe around their feelings for the other. Now older, their feelings are painfully obvious, and both are willing to risk anything to be together.

This is a dream I had last night and so I decided to flesh it out into a short story. I wrote in a backstory and an ending because where the dream ended wasn't very satisfying.
I've never written on Wattpad so please forgive me if this is horrible. I also don't know how to tag so there's also that.
If you have any suggestions on how to make it better, I'm willing to accept nearly anything.
