Ruth knew she wasn't TOTALLY normal. She had no memory of her life before the age of 13 after she was put in a coma... but still, she was normal enough, right?
Well, to put it simply, no. Not at all.
When the dangerous new boy attempts to kill her at school, she discovers she is one of the most expensive targets for skilled assassins, professional hit men, and experienced killers, with an astronomical amount of money placed on her head.
She needs answers, and fast. Thankfully, there are four others that are just as dangerous, and like her, none of them remember the first 13 years of their life.
So the question is:
Why have none of them been killed yet?

"We're different, Ruth." Colton smiled sadly, holding out his hand. A flame flickered between his fingers, then began dancing across his palm. He sighed, "They're afraid of people like us. The lab rats."
"We can show we mean no harm. That we're not threats." I countered.
My own hand mirrored his, and I clicked my fingers. As I did so, a miniature tornado formed and swirled in place, sparks of electricity flickering through it.
"How are we not?" He suddenly outstretched his fingers and the flame swelled into an angry red ball of fire as big as a basketball. "When we were made for war?"

What happens when their single parents meet and hit it off at a parent-teacher night? Their worlds are turned upside down when Willow's mom and Jace's dad become engaged. Thus throwing the two teenagers into a new life as step siblings. Will they become the perfect family their parents want them to be or will Jace introduce Willow to a whole new world of forbidden desires and choices? **There is no blood relation between the two main characters, nor were they raised together. I blushed a little. "No! I don't have any hidden desires." The image of me and Bryan on a bed, with no clothes and handcuffs and ties entering my head. I shook my head vigorously. Hell no! That ain't happening in another millennium. Instantly trying to change the topic, I glanced at my bucket list and then at him. "What are you teaching me?" I asked, fear already gripping me like ivy. He smirked evilly. "How to be a badass." ~~ Once in a while, in the middle of life, love gives us a fairytale. And some fairytale love stories are completely unexpected and thus more memorable. No one expected the class president and the leader of Trouble Triggers to even talk about anything but notes and pencils. But then fate's a bitch and loves to meddle! Their life changes drastically when the good girl- Joanna Williams has to tutor the bad boy- Bryan Cooper. Along with the tutoring comes constant fun, too much bickering, lame jokes, scary sarcasm, idiotic friends, too many unknown emotions, jungles in tummy, bucket lists, unheard secrets and haunting pasts.
