Carolyn Clarke is known very well throughout Galena as the Beauty sent by the gods themselves. Everything about her seems perfect, but it's not, with an alcoholic mother and an unstable love life Carolyn finds herself lost, and in search of something or someone who can help her. That someone has a six-year age difference and happens to be closer to her than they seem, with this she finds herself stuck between right and wrong. 
Harlyn Clark is known for being the towns Aphrodite's younger sister, left in her shadow she  surrounds herself with loving and caring friends; Finn, Dennis, Camreigh, and Ivy. With the mix of very different personalities the group draws attention to themselves quite a lot. 
But when the girl's mother is found dead, and Carolyn is accused of murder, what are the sisters left to do. Truths are exposed and some news is hard to follow and accept. Will the sisters pull through it together? Or will the Clark sisters no longer be able to stand eachother?
