Emotions are fluid. They come in different forms and shapes. They could either stay the same for a long time, or change into another in a blink of an eye. They can even mix with one another to form a whole new different substance. Some may seem stable, but in truth, they are volatile.
As creatures full of different emotions churning inside them, humans are capable of feeling and acting on a lot of things. In short, it may not seem like it, but emotions are what drive humanity into action.
Wouldn't it be interesting if one could just... bottle them up?

Standing on the path, my life flashed before my eyes. The gun directed at me, went off. I could see the flash and the bullet coming straight for me, but I'm frozen to the spot I'm standing, unable to move or think clearly. It only registered with me that the bullet pierced my skin when my body impacted on the cold wet cement. Lying there I could hear my heartbeat slow as my blood flowed from my body. Reborn in TVD?!
I don't get it. I really don't. I died, I get that much. But waking up in a dark and squishy place, with absolutely NO ROOM to move, I DON'T GET. Let's recap. It was a regular day. I got up, ate, showered and went to work. I was a police officer. I was checking out a house call about domestic abuse. I didn't even get to knock on the door before a man bursted out screaming at a women about calling the pigs on him. It didn't take much to figure out he was the abuser with the way he was holding her arm tight enough to bruise. I tried to diffuse the situation, told him to calm down and let her go. He didn't like that. In the end I got shot and died. Then I woke up in a small and dark space and freaked out. Then I get pushed out only to cry and realize I'm a baby.
