Life could be a dick sometimes but giving up is a losers anthem. You'll think you have your life planned out until the society you live in shoves time off your face.  But pushing forward and hoping to get better is the only way to survive. 
"Becoming" is about a young Nigerian who had her life started rather late because of the hardship in her country and letting go of the society time and focusing on striving to survive and becoming all she had ever wanted to become. It's never too late to pull that string.All Rights Reserved

To all my Nigerian friends who wished they could know what happened in the future of The Last Day of forcados High school .well there you have it. But this is from my POV ...enjoy. After several years of being abroad fate brings Efua back to Nigeria. Her past confronts her in a traumatic way. Will overcome these challenges or let them tear her down? Jimmy has moved on with his life; having a company, dating a renowned and sexy lawyer Amaka. With all these he seemed to be at the top of his game not knowing what fate has in store for him. Endured struggle after struggles as a child, ran away as a teenager to escape the harsh circumstances she faced. Continuing on into adulthood with a cycle of abuse and dysfunction raising children of her own trying to break the cycle but somehow never being able to. One day she finds her true purpose in life and realizes her worth so her voice that was hidden for practically her whole life was finally heard. Maryam never had a say. Although her situation wasn't her fault, people never fail to rub it in her face. If she was a child out of wedlock, she wouldn't have been sad. Atleast she'd be paying for her parent's sin. If she was an Almajira, she'd still lift her head up high and accept what ever the world threw at her, atleast she would still be paying for her parent's sin for throwing her out into the streets. If she was a prostitute, Heck! she'd stand proud and tall, atleast it was her decision to sell her body to men. But, she was neither one of this things. She had lost her father, a day before she was born. Her mother got married to someone else a week later! That marriage came with a whole lot of burden. A burden she was subjected to by her gullible mother. A burden she had no choice but to embrace.
