Tommy Maguire doesn't want to think - about what, who knows. But his only goal is to pick up this cute American transplant, who doesn't even seem to realise he's in a gay bar, let alone he's being flirted with. All Tommy's efforts for naught, the American leaves, and he moves on with his life.

This strange, confusing American, who he's nicknamed DAG (Dumbass American Guy), however, keeps popping up wherever he goes, and he is not Tommy's friend despite how many times they run into each other. Yet as Tommy learns more about DAG (whose name isn't even DAG), gets to know his friend from his study-abroad program, and even introduces them to his flatmate, he begins to wonder if this is the birth of a new friendship, or something far, far worse?
