"Jessica?" A voice said from behind the curtain. Then someone stepped into the room, it was a man in a black suit. "Hi. I'm Mathew Black with the police department"- he held out a badge -"I am here so that we can figure out who did this to you." He gestured to my shoulder that was wrapped up in a thick, tan, bandage. I had barely realized it was there.
"Do you think you can tell me what happened, in details?"
"Uh-hu." I stuttered, it hurt me, I was too tired. Pausing, I thought. I wasn't sure. What did happen? How about he tells me.
"Do you need me to start you off?" I nodded. "Well, your neighbor, John Logan, was murdered yesterday at five twenty-two PM across the street from your house. He was shot in the back, blindsided, by a nine millimeter pistol..."
It was coming back to me. Everything. I tried to shake it from my mind but it wasn't going to leave.

(History) Hi my name is Serenity, and I have a secret I must tell, because you see I am immortal, which means that I cannot die no matter what, like for example you shoot 100 bullets at my heart I won't die. When I first realized I was immortal was when I was trying to save a friend but the bullet went right through my heart and killed her.
