Esteban Machado, a teen-aged boy with special needs, has gone missing and private investigator Chase Barnes is hell-bent on bringing him home safely. It's his first adventure as a private investigator since being forced out of a local New Jersey police department and he has no idea where or how to begin. While trying to find Esteban, Chase has to decide whether or not he's going to let his past interfere with his future. It's the incident that Chase has kept secret from the world. It's his secrets that nearly cost him his marriage and his own life as well as the lives of others. However, Chase decides to dive in head first when more teenaged boys go missing. Can Chase gain control of his inner demons in order to solve the case and bring the kidnappers to justice?
