Every story has a bad guy...right?
Odette Woods is an 18-year-old girl who loves her village and her people. Her father is strict about staying within the village area. But when disaster strikes and her village is in jeopardy, she must muster up all the courage she has to save her family and her friends.
She sets off on a journey where she meets him. An arrogant, closed off and frankly hot boy called Jax Flynn. He tags along and agrees to help her after much convincing.
What Odette doesn't realize is that there is so much more than meets the eye with the world outside her village.

I follow the sound, curiosity guiding my hand. My eyes immediately go wide at the sight of Jax's bare back towards me.
The bottom half of his body is dipped in a river, while the top half is dripping wet with little droplets of water dotted on him.
He turns around and keeps a calm expression when his eyes lay on me. I don't say anything for a couple seconds, rattling my brain to form a sentence.
My eyes rake his body shamelessly and I gulp.
