Concealed by the strongest of magic, the island of Okashire hides in the Pacific Ocean. Protected by the Guardians, supernatural beings that hone the power of water magic, Okashire is a refuge for magical plants, animals, and one half-human. Thysia doesn't know much about her past except for the fact that her father was a human and her mother was the fallen Guardian, Xiras. She has only a few magical abilities, but otherwise, she feels all alone. Then one day, a man washes up on Okashire.
