In a society where free speech is restricted, what happens to those who speak their minds? No one knows, except Them. Nowhere is safe for people who can see through the dystopian system, which forces Christian beliefs onto the entire population. Atheists, Laurel and Ronan, both end up chained to a wall in a cell. Forced to watch their families suffer in their absence, Empress Glass is trying to forcefully change their views. They concoct a daring- and possibly deadly- plan. Will they bring reality to The Empire or keep it chained?

With the hunt for Bernie giving new purpose to Geoff's un-life, he and Naomi begin a quest to get back their cat. Battling skeleton pirates, climbing the sky ladder and facing off against the villain who took Bernie, Geoff is determined to find his purpose - or die a second time trying!
