In a society where free speech is restricted, what happens to those who speak their minds? No one knows, except Them. Nowhere is safe for people who can see through the dystopian system, which forces Christian beliefs onto the entire population. Atheists, Laurel and Ronan, both end up chained to a wall in a cell. Forced to watch their families suffer in their absence, Empress Glass is trying to forcefully change their views. They concoct a daring- and possibly deadly- plan. Will they bring reality to The Empire or keep it chained?
(I am NOT trying to bash any group mentioned in this story, this was a random midnight thought.)
