Kirishima Natsuya has always believed that if he worked hard, he'll gain the results he wants.

A catch up with his best friend Nao Serizawa brings back memories of his time in the Iwatobi Junior High Swim Club. Several of them including Kumiko Hashimoto, a talented female swimmer who gained a scholarship for a high school in Nagoya for her academic talent. 

Naturally, going down memory lane has Natsuya thinking 'what if?' in his mind. Like a cliche romantic comedy, he finds himself facing the very girl whom he had come to realize had captured his heart since middle school. 

Will he take the opportunity given to him, or will discover that things have changed in the five or more years they had apart?
