It's said in the story books that all humans have perished from the Earth, thanks to the community of the Forgivenesses that they are all gone. Ron has read about humans his entire life, dreaming of meeting one, but he knows that he never can, for they have been extinct since the early 1820's; the last human being hunted down by his own kind and torchered to death. 

It use to make Ron sick to think that the dragons were the ones to kill off the last of the  human race, but he soon accepts what happened to them.


What happens when Ron goes for his morning hunt and finds non other than a human. 

Meet Ruby, a girl who has been living in fear for twenty-six years. Watching her parents be torn to shreds and her siblings being swallowed hole by other unnatural beings. 

What will she do when Ron finds her? What can she do?

Dillon hates his mate and waiting tell he is old enough to reject her. He dose what he can, ignores her, forgets her, because she is nothing but a pathetic human. Or so she thought... . . . "Get out of my head!" He yelled at me. I stood my ground, because I was here and was not leaving. "What's your problem with me?" I hissed. "Your weak, ugly, pathdic, little human, who I could kill so easily. Unfortunately for me I can't reject you yet!" I didn't know what reject meant I knew it was bad, by the way the silent room went quite. "Well I may be ugly, I may be pathdic, and you know what I'm a weak little human.
