"Oh," he said, as my back hit the wooden wall. Damn it, of course. With nowhere to go, his arms locked me in between him and the wall. He stared down at me as he said, "So you're trying to piss me off?" His lips were surprisingly close to mine. No guy would ever be this close to me in real life, let alone me being able to handle it; I would've been so timid and afraid. But this was the dream world. I could speak and be as brave as I wanted to. "Yeah, I am," I said. "What are you gonna do about it?" He paused as his eyes looked between the two of mine. Then, he smirked and swiftly closed the gap between our lips. ~~ In a small town in New York, Hazel is your average quiet type. In a school full of clichés, she falls perfectly under the category of "nerd" and has her own little nerdy group of people she loves to hang around. They respect the fact that she's non-verbal. The thing that plagued her, surprisingly, is not her inability and refusal to speak, but her ability to go through anybody and everybody's dreams. This is not something she can control, nor something that's necessarily dangerous. It just happens. One second she's in darkness, the next second she happens to be in someone's dream. Cliche. I know I know. Bad boy meets the nerd. But hey this story may just be not cliche enough yet still cliche to meet your likings. Meet Lennon. Obviously, the nerdy girl. She mostly keeps to herself. Sits in the back of the room with her hair always covering her face. Her bulky glasses frame her face largely but she doesn't mind much. Her best-friend is the head cheerleader and she always tries doing things to Lennon to make her more outgoing. then in English class she has to make a story of herself and her partner. Named Parker. Meet Parker. Bad-Boy of the school. Mostly closed out. Has one friend they are pretty close. Most of the girls go after him but very un-cliche. Not the head-cheerleader. He never really knew why because that is usually what happens. As a matter of fact most of the cheerleaders barely look at him. He is very cocky and rude to the girls he does know though. I couldn't think of a smart remark in response to what he had said so I mumbled a "fuck off" before returning to the bookshelf, I was sure my face turned crimson. "Just out of curiosity," Levi continued, now leaning against the bookshelf. I wasn't going to warn him about the fact that it was slowly tipping over. "You're single right?" I wasn't going to tell him that his assumption offended me either. Instead I replied with "Just out of curiosity" I said in a mocking tone "You're single now too, aren't you?" "You're a feisty one, aren't you?" "You're not gonna leave me alone, are you?" I muttered, attempting once more, to grab the book I so badly needed for English. "You're really hot, you know?"
