Tanya believes without a shadow of a doubt that when she dies, she will become a flower. In her family, it is a common belief that when people die, they will become an object that best depicts how they have lived as humans.

For Tanya, it is a flower. Tanya has made it her life's mission to be as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. From volunteering at children's shelters to learning how to do graceful ballet. Tanya is sure that she is the definition of a delicate flower.

That is, until one day she meets Ray, a lowly, self-centered, spoiled boy with no morals. Ray loves to hurt people, especially girls. He breaks their hearts as easily as fragile china. And his new target, is Tanya, the girl who can do no wrong until he's through with her.

And suddenly, becoming a flower is harder than it seems.
