The day it happened was a rainy one. We were on our way home after a nice long camping trip. There were six of us, Cas, Jake, Sawer, Dillion, Dove and myself. We were all school friends and since we had only a few weeks left of summer before we all headed off to our different colleges, we decided that spending a few days away from the "big" city of Denver Colorado that we lived in would be good for us. Cas was the event planner of the group. She always knew where we were going and what we would need. I was glad she had packed extra supplies or we wouldn't have made it this far. But we are running low on food, clean water and hope. If it weren't for these damn zombies we would be home...All Rights Reserved

A fiery like pain struck the part of my arm that was grabbed. "Ow fuck-" I was turned around to see Liam up close to me. He pushed me up against the gate that was blocking out the forest. "What are we gonna do with you" He says as the rest of his group walk up to us standing behind Liam with a shit eating grin on his face. I met these killers later in my life by fate

Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies". The CSD promised that they'll find a cure, but much-lost hope, lost hope for being alive, lost hope for survival. A 17 yrs. the old girl was in between that. Everything might sound and look horrible but she never lost hope for survival. "I'm running out of food.." she kept on talking to herself since there was no one but her. She saw a grocery store nearby so she checked it out if there were food, and fortunately, there was. She stuffed the food in her bag until she heard something. "Is someone there?" She asked, she hoped it wasn't what she thought about but there it was. The zombie's legs were twisted so it will have a hard time catching her. However, she never encountered that close. She stuffed the last food in her bag and ran. She ran to the girl's restroom. When she opened the door there were zombies! It almost caught her but fortunately, nothing happened to her. She ran back but there were more! "Please don't say this is how I'm going to die!" She said to herself. Is she going to die? Who will she meet? Will they survive this cruel world??
